非常榮幸邀請大家出席“第13屆亞太臨床微生物暨感染病會(huì )議”（13th APCCMI，原“西太平洋感染與化療會(huì )議”），我謹代表本屆大會(huì )組委會(huì )熱切期盼諸位的蒞臨！

自1989年首屆召開(kāi)以來(lái)，“西太平洋感染與化療會(huì )議”（WPCCID）經(jīng)過(guò)20年的發(fā)展，已成為覆蓋感染性疾病、臨床微生物學(xué)、抗生素及化學(xué)治療等領(lǐng)域的頂尖級學(xué)術(shù)會(huì )議。2012年，WPCCID正式啟用新的會(huì )議名稱(chēng)——“亞太臨床微生物暨感染病會(huì )議”（APCCMI），并且從2012年開(kāi)始，APCCMI將每年舉辦一屆（2013年在日本、2014年在馬來(lái)西亞、2015年沙特阿拉伯、2016年墨爾本），大會(huì )將為更多環(huán)太平洋國家及地區的感染病學(xué)同仁提供交流平臺與合作契機，并積極推動(dòng)日常臨床技術(shù)的逐步規范和循征研究的全面發(fā)展。

本屆APCCMI為期4天，預計參會(huì )人員將超過(guò)5,000人。大會(huì )以“規范方法，把握機遇——共同開(kāi)啟感染學(xué)管理新紀元 Collaborating in the management of infections: Right Ideas, Right Actions, Right Now”為主題，邀請了眾多國際知名專(zhuān)家學(xué)者出席，屆時(shí)他們將獻上精彩的課題演講，并通過(guò)主題報告、全體會(huì )議、專(zhuān)題會(huì )等活動(dòng)與大家展開(kāi)深入探討。會(huì )議期間，組委會(huì )還將繼續開(kāi)展征文評選和壁報展示，以此作為同仁之間分享成果的有效渠道；同時(shí)，大會(huì )還制定了青年學(xué)者獎勵政策，以鼓勵中青年力量更好地致力于未來(lái)學(xué)術(shù)研究（詳見(jiàn)“征文通知”）。所以，我們誠摯歡迎各位同仁積極提交學(xué)術(shù)研究摘要，共同推動(dòng)感染病領(lǐng)域的學(xué)術(shù)繁榮。

立足亞太，放眼全球，APCCMI日漸成為世界感染病學(xué)領(lǐng)域的盛事。而本屆APCCMI是第一次在中國舉辦，這對于中國感染病學(xué)發(fā)展將具有里程碑意義，所以我們衷心希望各位同仁能在2012的美麗金秋，踐約北京，共襄盛舉。

As the organizers, we are truly honored to welcome our colleagues from all over the world to Beijing, China participating in the 13th Asia-Pacific Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infection (13th APCCMI; formerly Western Pacific Congress on Chemotherapy and Infectious Diseases, WPCCID), which will be held from October 25 to 28, 2012.

Even with great development in economy and social changes in Asia, countries within the region still need to face threats from various infectious diseases. By taking such great opportunity to host the 13th APCCMI, we sincerely hope to provide the channels to demonstrate and share the progress that all specialists have achieved, link resources in chemotherapy and infectious diseases and most importantly, to learn from our colleagues around the world.
