In 1985, K-SYSTEMS, KIVEX Biotec (named at that time as Henning Knudsen Engineering) was founded. This was just a few years after 1978 in which Louise Brown, the frst baby conceived following fertilization in vitro , was born in Oldham, Lancashire, England.

As historically IVF equipments have been for quite a while empirically and therefore borrowed from other science and adapted to IVF. K-SYSTEMS, the brand of all our products, has evlolved in joint venture with the science and all the improvements brought within the IVF fields. This has broguht us to work closely with embryologists to satisfy their demands and also by understanding the processes through which they are evolving.

1985: Henning Knudsen Engineering Ltd was founded.

1999: KIVEX Ltd acquired Henning Knudsen engineering Ltd.

2000: KIVEX Biotec is the new name of the organisation

2001: First move to larger premises

2002: The first launch of our own designed IVF Workstations

2004: A new product range launched (incubators, warming plates etc.)

2005: The growing needs ensure a succesful launch of the 200 and the 400 Series.

2006: The second move to our 3500 square meters facilities
